Hi,

I'm new to speedrunning, but decided to try my hand at it on this game (I used to play it a lot as a kid). I can see that a lot of the people here have experience with other games in the doom series or the other unity port. I was wondering if there is anywhere where techniques for play were collected or discussed for the unity ports?

Otherwise, if anyone has any basic tips to offer to a new player, I'd be greatly appreciative! Thusfar I've only been able to grind down staging area to 38s and it's difficult to see what I can do to get faster times.

Edit: Even in the incredibly short time since writing this, I actually spotted a massive error I was making in staging area (sigh). I was flipping a switch that I didn't need to. Have now taken off 2 seconds to come down to 36s.
