Are emulated runs acceptable, the game at times can run slower than on normal hardware but nowhere does it end up running faster than on normal hardware, to me there isn't really an advantage or disadvantage from doing so, I mainly see a lot of rules on speedrunning games about using real hardware instead of emulating it because of the advantages
