Pyxel has been convicted and openly admitted to cheating/speeding up, so it's only fair that you (TAC) remove your run w/ him on Frost Run since he was the finisher.

Actually I did make a proof video on Pyxel after I discovered he was speeding up, if people are gonna call the mods biased for banning without evidence its okay i got some xd

The miscellaneous categories so far have been a hit. The 3 people left in the community so far have all gone for them, so I have a category idea to expand the game.

As a suggestion, let's add a category where 1 leap is permitted for the entire speedrun, with the same timing system & rules.

I don't see why people would disapprove of the category, imo it's not near as idiotic as "Warper No-Exploits" so let's hear it ppls

Well in all fairness what if you're using an iPad? It would be way easier to use that instead of a phone since the screen is wayyy bigger obviously.

It would get really unorganized if we divided the platforms even tho Win10 users will obviously sweep the wrs

Tbh I don't think ANYONE thought about new maps coming out xd we went like a year at least before another map came out (Time Travel)

It does seem like a good idea and I hope it goes through. Yes it would be a pain for you and tac as mods but think about how beneficial it would be for the community to have twice as many WRs to go for. It would allow new and more competition, which is what DE has needed for the last what, like 2 years?

EDIT: Now with 12 maps on the leaderboard, half of the maps don't even show up without scrolling over which is quite annoying anyways. It would probably look better if the miscellaneous categories were hidden over entire maps.

If anything the map change makes speedrunning QUICKER. I was able to find a new leap with the map change that saves half a second, and there are even more slab boosts. Max already got a 42 for leaper, so obviously leaper and disruptor will be quicker. For Helpless and Digger and kitless I don't see why it will slow down because the ladders have all been shifted, you can slab boost for more momentum and in fact the last jump has been edited so you don't have to strafe around that last jump thing so it should save like half a second +

Actually reviewing the map again I realize there is no need for penalties, this map update should make the maps faster for all categories, and I have made an even quicker Leap that probably saves a further half a second.

Welp just played Fungi Galore this morning everyone's favorite map when I realized they changed the map AGAIN!

I don't think that the times will be affected very significantly, they just took out a few slabs and fences and flattened them and also edited a few jumps, looks like the ladder section could be quicker.

It seems as if Mineplex has added more scenery to try and hide the fact that the map is literal garbage and make it easier for average Joe's in public lobby since like no one finishes it.

Mods, I'm not sure how you will want to take care of this, it's hard to say whether this will help runs or hinder them, but just wanted to give you the heads up.

Occasionally when I'm on vacation I'll hop on PE and I'll do Dragon Escape, but as far as I'm concerned we shouldn't add a "PE mod" because its just the same game as normal DE, timing and scoring should have the same rules, and the maps are like 15, 17, and 22 seconds long from what I can tell (lol)

Also just another thing to throw out there: you can access pe.mineplex.com with the Windows 10 Minecraft and obviously Win10 players will be able to go way faster way easier.

3. I've played PE and just fyi the kits are like impossible to use
4. These will be like 22 second Wrs for tribal, 15 for alpine, and probably 17 for the jungle one

Even though there are 570 runs, why should 18th place on Sandstorm Leaper matter if it were to be reset? xdd

Replying to Tristan: When I meant "0 submissions" I meant for the All-Maps Category xd. Also if my idea is not an alternative to your website I hope that under the moderating of you and Craftain your website gains more interest because they are good entry-level WRs for people just starting out, and they also create a crap ton of new competition.

Now that 2 new mods have arrived, and given the fact that one of them runs a "Community-Made Leaderboard" at http://deunofficialcategories.weebly.com/ I was thinking maybe we could have the Community-Made Leaderboard slide over to this WR book.

The Full-Game Leaderboard was implemented and still 0 runs have been submitted, so I was thinking we could implement something like that and add a slot for "Community-Made Categories Leaderboard" and add all of the categories used on http://deunofficialcategories.weebly.com/ and maybe add a few more categories approved by the mods as they come up.

Most of the WRs, even warper, are now getting maxed out every day and it becomes harder and harder for new players to get WRs.

Adding the Community-Made Categories on speedrun.com would probably spark more interest and allow newer faces to show up on the leaderboard.

I think it will be good to have speedrunners that are ACTIVE as moderators in the community. The one thing that I would like to point out is that both of them use different timers from what most of the community uses (thunder's timer) and it would be better if both mods were on the same page timer-wise imo. I do hope that tac and Craftain do well as the new mods of DE.

Also I hope Tristan keeps his act together and also doesn't ban digger shortcuts or ManiacJ or other things that are "hard" for high ping runners like himself.

From what I've seen, I don't think that Craftain will have that issue.
