This was discussed a lot, and the consensus is that we don't want ranks or points for WRs count or similar metrics.

The main points are that categories and ILs can be very different from each other, and a WR in one category doesn't have the same value of a WR in another (for example, when they have different difficulties). Plus being ranked on a count of WRs will just encourage people to create junk categories just to get a "WR" on them and artificially boost their count.

Old comments can't be in the audit log when no one cared to put them in...

You can try asking the question in the forums of the game itself: https://www.speedrun.com/dainq/forum

In the meantime you should also consult with your favorite search engine and see if someone else has the same issue, because it's not related to speedrunning.

@survivalMichi Comments are indeed written in the audit log. Forum posts are classified as "comments", and the new comments are classified as "run-comments".

In my "amateur moderator" phase I also required livesplit in the videos for some reason, but I quickly removed it from everywhere.

Some unnecessary rules that I often find:

  • As you said, requiring audio in games that do have a reliable built-in timer (not just in mobile games). But for PC/web games it's much easier to record audio.
  • No modifying the games
  • No cheating
  • No tool assisted speedruns

Specifying a rule for requiring video for all runs might also be redundant, but I personally decided to put that rule in all my games.

I see. I have no idea, then.

In the game "Kaze and the Wild Masks" we have an autosplitter, and some of the runners configure their Livesplit to show both real time and time without loads (which points to "game time" in Livesplit).

Here is my Livesplit layout in this game. You need to have two timer components (whether they are simple or detailed, your choice). Set one of the timers with a timing method of "Game Time", and set the other with "Real Time". Your autosplitter should affect the "game time" component only.

I also have the setting as "alphabetical", but sometimes when I follow new games, the list gets messed up. The temporary solution is to go to your settings --> Followed Games, then choose "custom" and then switch back to "alphabetical". This will trigger a new sort on the list, fixing its order.

At least until you follow the next game...

@Saradoc I just did a test in one of my own games. While the total run time of a game only counts verified runs; the "verify" time of a moderator counts ALL RUNS, INCLUDING REJECTED RUNS.

So my guess is that someone submitted a 999:59:59.999 run to your game as a joke, you rejected it, but for the reason above it still contributes to your 1000+ hours. (Bug reported by the way)
