I understand that different platforms affect different glitches, but what's the problem with glitchless categories? Maybe the different loot tables affect different set seed runs, but how about RSG? I don't really see a problem with input splitting for RSG
No unfortunately, runs cannot have gaps of unrecorded time in between
Do you mean the copypasta was unnecessary or the people replying to it?
Well yeah, we're all speedrunners. But each of us are better at one thing than the other, eg: I'm much better at parkour than PvP. I think if someone were to organise such an event with many people it could really boost in popularity, especially this speedrun website category since it originated from here.
It's the closest thing the bedrock community has to hypixel, which is probably why this exists. I think this has been around for months or even years now tho, although I've joined pretty recently. As for the accusations against the server, do you have any evidence to back you up? I've never heard anybody say anything of the sort, except for the hypixel thing which is completely justified.
Bedrock servers are better than java servers in term of performance tho, my phone can handle having 5 people being in my world simultaneously, each doing their own thing. I think if you were to host it on a strong computer it could handle ~50 people without any big lag spikes, although the map size couldn't be too big.
Well you can refrain from doing it I guess
Edit: what I mean is you should try to avoid doing it for morality reasons(mercy for the touchscreeners). I don't really see a reason to ban it all together, or adding an extra variable because that is unnecessary. It shouldn't be promoted either
Bro you're such a nice person. Don't think it'll be allowed tho:(
Bruh don't be sarcastic he's asking a legitimate question and was hoping for a legitimate answer. He's probably a new player looking to set a new record or at least try. Imagine he's socially anxious and had to pull his guts together just to ask this, and you give him this. Then you wonder why people submit runs with mistakes that go against the rules.
The reason is mainly because of different loot tables and OP glitches, but this shouldn't be an issue in RSG
Is this a test thing or is it real? If so what map and versions is this on?
Aren't there 128 portals per world, meaning that there is probably at least one filled one thousands of blocks from spawn
Doesn't explain about glitchless tho
I made a post about this a while back. Mangoman just said that " if I can use controller for pc and console I can use it for mobile". Then why can't I use touch for pc? " It'll ruin the category because there is an op dupe glitch for mobile"
So I'm planning on doing the run in a few weeks when I find time. Just a few questions:
-
For the solo run can we temporarily invite a player to pick up a diamond for the achievement. I don't think zombies can pick them up. The player will just join, pick up the diamond, throw it back then leave.
-
Can we take a break during the run because I doubt anyone can stand more than 16 hours of gaming
-
If I'm not mistaken there is a glitch where you can't craft a cake. I tried to for my noxcrew grid runner's world but it couldn't craft. If someone attempts this run can we get all the ingredients for the cake, put it in the crafting table to prove that it cannot be crafted then throw the ingredients into lava?
Those are just questions I thought of from the top of my head. If any of them are wrong just tell me thanks
Yeah but no advantages like night vision
Since there are 3 categories for each run, pc, console and mobile, it wouldn't make sense for someone with a controller playing on mobile instead of console. On mobile it's more difficult to craft items as you cannot do it as a stack, but currently you could just use a controller to get around that. The whole pain of mobile is that the controls are more difficult, so in my humble opinion controllers and keyboards should not be allowed on mobile.
