As Maid of Sker is free on Epic for a bit, I picked it up FINALLY after seeing Asuka run it for ages.

The quickest question I happen to have about it:

Can anyone be so kind to pop up the splits that fit the autosplitter for the new runners?

I went to Splits.io for them and no one has them available :(

The most recent forum post about the "Battle Speed Up" was sent to the developers for review. They sent back the following in a Twitter DM.

"According to Paul, (The other member of the 2 person Dev team.) there is no intentional change to timers when using autocomplete, it might well be a bug but he can't seem to reproduce it. However, just to throw a spanner in the works, autocomplete will be disabled from version 1.04 onwards the reason is that we're moving to a new predictive system designed especially with joypads in mind - launching on PS5 in late summer so we have had a lot of QA on this lately. The new system will effectively be a smarter form of autocomplete, designed to let jopypad players quickly access their skills with minimal typingand unfortunately it won't play nicely at all with the old autocomplete so that will get scrapped."

Therefor, all runs that feature "Battle Speed Up" will be classified as Unrestricted.

New Catagory and Rewording of Main Game Any%

So it has come to my attention that glitches/bugs were found to benifit the player during a run. (Specifically a "No Damage" bug) With that being said, I hope that the devs see this and NOT patch out the bug. If anything this is a pillar of the new catagory of Unrestricted!! Also, Main Game Any% will be changed to Restricted with the same ruleset as before.

The Life Time of the Demo Board

Some of my fellow mod friends have asked why the Demo board is still up even though the game has been out for 2 weeks now. The demo was the sole reason why the boards were created to begin with. The abiliity to learn strats and speed run a game, albeit a very limited portion of the game, for free would be the gateway needed to pick up and learn the full game. With that being said, I also feel like there SHOULD be a date where the demo boards will be sunsetted, and archived for the world to see.

The date of the sunset will be June 9th, a full month after the first run was submitted.

Just letting yall know that there's no way to properly submit a co-op run as there's no place for the partner's SRC name to go.

Please check the updated rules. All runs will remain verified before the added date of 5/19/2024.

I'm looking to have some fun with this leaderboard.

I'm looking for different catagories for the main game. Like a race to a certian objective, or a race to put a certian amount of souls in the swear jar, stuff like that.

Edit: Please note, that the Any% Full Retail boards will go live, ONLY if there's some interest in it. I understand right now casually it's a 8-10 hour game, but if there's enough advancement in it and people are vocal about it, It will become a reality. <3

It says Any Timer, Rounds, and Difficulty for Any% (AC) but someone brought up the question of damage?

Can we change this or the only things we can change are those listed in the rule set?

Can someone please clarify in the Rules tab of the leaderboards? I would like to run them, but i don't want my run to be denied due to settings changes i didn't know about.

The rules say final event...so I'm making sure if it's the last game before the crag? or the crag itself is considered the "Final Run"?

I recently started running the game on Fightcade, which uses EAA.

Could there be a catagory update, so we can have EAA available?

i understand that the submission forms say "Emulation is Banned" but does that include USB Loader?

I have a run ready to submit, but I'm checking on the legality as it was using USB Loader.

Any idea if the streamable PS3 version on the PS4 will be acceptable?

I've been trying to use the auto splitter inside Livesplit, and it's not working on resets and starts.

Am I doing something wrong?

I'm having issues with the auto splitter, as it won't automatically turn on when I go to start a new game. Would it have to be started manually? O_o
