It doesn't even look like records there are actually proofed at all.
Oh yeah, I think if added to the same page, a subcat is appropriate over a mixed board.
The MAME arcade function has 16 unique levels in a loop, and then it loops to 256 levels, and starts over again.
Not sure why the NES has 14 unique levels, as opposed to 16, but looks like that's the case. Besides that, it seems like everything else is the same.
Come across this also, which might be useful in the future. I had no idea there was that many ports, lol.
So given that, I don't know really if it would be better if each port had its own page, and they just get made as they get played, or they could all go on the same board (as new runs come in). Either way though, seems fine.
I don't particularly have a preference. As far I can determine, the game doesn't appear to be something that necessarily needs a different page, but I don't really mind requesting for an additional page either.
Seems fine to me, tbh. He should avoid it in the future.
So, I have this MAME, but the platform isn't added. Just wanted to check if I should actually submit arcade runs on this page (or make a new one). Thanks.
Hello. Recently came across the MAME version of this game. Was wondering if y'all like to add it as a platform/subcat or would prefer a separate page, which I have no problem making either (would just copy over the current categories). Thanks.
@Liv Oh yeah, I forgot games could be done in more than one series. Yeah, I guess we'll do a tetris/hatris one as well.
Ah snap, my notes are back.
I mod Wordtris (SNES), Wordtris (GB) and Hatris (NES). There also exists a Hatris (GB), but I do not mod it.
When I requested Wordtris, it was part of Tetris series. Later I requested Hatris (NES) as part of the Tetris Series. But I guess because the Hatris (GB) already had a page that wasn't part of the Tetris series, when Hatris (NES) was accepted, it was added separate from the series.
I'm requesting two new series pages get made, Wordtris and Hatris, and then those four games assigned appropriately, OR Just adding the two Hatris games to the Tetris series. I do not have a preference either way.
In case it wasn't clear, Tetris, Wordtris and Hatris are slightly different games by the same creator with similar vibes. Given the number of Tetris games, I can see the reasoning why variations on the game should be their own series.
Yea I got logged out randomly. Was wondering about that.
If I'm a moderator of a game, and there are any other moderators, there is no way to be sure that they "watching them." But if you check out a run of his and there isn't an issue, then why assume there is one. Now, I mean, if he was clearly verifying things that are obviously wrong, I'd see the issue.
Otherwise the run in question, the IL run, has an IGT. The run literally does the run (which is 48 seconds), and then the player exits the game and goes back in the level selection menu and it clearly shows his new best time as being 48 seconds. So, yeah, I don't really get the paranoia.
I mean, assuming the runs he is verifying are legit, what's the issue?
Seems understandable. I would try to let him know that it's an issue he should try to address in his runs. Because it's the sum of IGT's that make up the run, it would be really easy to just splice best times for individual levels like that.
Nice. Yeah, I didn't think about runs without videos, uncontested's, and issues with subcategories. That makes it difficult, but it's an excellent starting point nonetheless, I already want to see if I can AquaRush when I get home.
Hope this gets more reconsideration in the future, given that there is a way to implement it, ignore TWR's, etc.
As far as "inactive games" spoiling the list; it seems like that's sort of the point, isn't it? To give people a reason to play a game that they might not otherwise play. I dunno, seems like if there is an inactive game on the list, it would incentive people to try to beat the record, and thus eliminating it from the list.
I don't know, I think it's a pretty cool idea (if implemented correctly). I have no idea though how difficult it would be to actually make though, so I can't account for that.
Unmodded, and switch mod to St. Clair. Appreciate the advice.
I would have been happy to add a second mod, if there was anyone else active. In any case, happy I no longer have to be concerned with it.
Visit? I'd live the rest of my life in Uruguay starting tomorrow.
Might be more than you were looking for, but just for reference.

You might have already found these, but I thought I'd share since I was a bit surprised all three of the lists were complete. But it is super specific though. "Way of the Warrior" isn't included because it was released for PSP later; Playstation (or Sony systems) exclusive versus Playstation 2 exclusive. Although for some reason it includes "Stuntman" even though that game was ported to GBC once. My guess is the PSP is more or less the same than PS2, whereas a GBC...
But ya apparently other consoles have similar lists, though I'm not sure if they are all as thorough: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Category:Single-platform_video_games
SOCOM US Navy Seals 1 & 2 for PS2 in my opinion. Tbh tho I am biased as I loved those games so much as a kid.
