Well, the Any% category isn't exactly 4 hours or under, but I like to run Digimon World 2 for the Capture MetalGreymon category. It clocks at around an hour of play on average (WR is 51:15 as of the writing of this post) and even though it's a miscellaneous category, it's been receiving quite a bit of attention lately (and actually has more runs uploaded than Any% at the moment).

While I won't deny it's a bit reliant on RNG at certain places, it also includes quite a bit of decision making and thinking on your toes as well, so I just find it very interesting.

Well, as long as you pause the game but the timer keeps running (meaning the time for your pause is accounted for in your final time), I don't see why it can't be accepted as a complete speedrun.

If you have a PC that can handle it, DaVinci Resolve 16 is a great free option for video editing (and the one I personally use).

We could have a separate category/board for Dentur.es so as to have the best of both worlds. Let's allow accessibility people! :)

Hello and welcome to the site!

What game are you trying to run? Because this question would be better suited for that game's leaderboard forum, to better get the attention of the other runners.

I really dig this idea! It'd certainly feel more welcoming for people with different native languages.

I think this belongs best on The Site though (not trying to be a stick in the mud, just mentioning this to get as much attention to the idea as possible).

Your points are just a summary of what transpires during the run rather than evidence of cheating

Hello everyone! So like the title reads, I've been busy preparing new custom trophy icons for the game's leaderboard, as well as a new Game Icon.

For the custom trophy icons, I basically took the Super Karoshi gem pickup you can find throughout the game and recolored it to fit with the current trophies' color scheme. You can see them here:

For the custom game icon, I figured I should use the Super Karoshi sprite given how iconic it is amongst the Karoshi series, so I did just that:

Anyway, feel free to comment on these and use as you see fit!

I definetely agree that allowing this could make it hard to define when a run finishes and another one begins.

For example, in Harry Potter and the Philosopher Stone they once had a controversy about a skip they had found where if the player started a game, played until a certain point and then reset and played a New Game, they'd be able to bypass a level of the game (a quidditch match). In their case, they came to the conclusion that they should restrict the use, given that it wouldn't really be NG but rather NG+.

Personally, if the skip doesn't affect a New Game, I'd have no problems allowing it, but this feels like it should be something to be analized on a case-by-case basis and, more importantly, with a consensus amongst the respective game's community.
