ok so I just saw that appel_speedrunner had a few of his runs added and I was wondering: is there any cretiera for people without accounts to have their runs added?
Are all times just in terms of seconds? Or should we use the more precise time (using something like vidtimer)
So, a major game I speedrun (Appel) recently underwent a big change that made runs more precise (the times basically changed from 10FPS times to 30FPS times, if that makes sense). The first level, which has a tied WR of at least 100 people, the times all got changed from 18.900 to 18.933.
On the game's speedrun page, the Leaderboards and Levels section both show everyone tying for first. However, when you view a specific run (or view it on someones profile), it shows up as 2nd.
Well, hopefully I explained everything. Here's my run so you can see what's happening (which coincidentally happens to be the 100th person to get it lol).
This is my first forum post, so if I messed anything up, sorry :P
what is a "jump"? do wall jumps count? bouncing on goombas? going on trampolines? just need some clarifications
Sometimes when I go to submit a run, the category defaults to "Deathless (Archive)"
What is this?
