In the resources tab there's a max% file that you could download, you might need a homebrewed (hacked) Wii though, I don't know enough about it
Why do the minigames get more attention than the actual categories here, I haven't seen any attention given to the "normal" categories and just several forum posts about the snowball game
It can speed loads up and make them inconsistent, so most games don't allow it, and i think the ones that do allow it don't really like it.
This is a fun game to run, it was also my first speedgame and it's easy to get into. If you want to learn it you should join the discord server where people can help you.
Also sorry for the late response src notifications were broken for a while
I know that using nds bootstrap on a 3ds has faster loads, so it may be the same with a flash cart. No one has tested the loads on one though
Version 1.0 is faster because you can skip 2 levels that you have to play on Version 1.2.
The version 1.0 patch is in the guides section of this website. I think you just replace some files and it works
I feel like low% is the opposite of 100%, although now it's "no powerups" It is kind of weird that all levels is ignored though.
I think we should have save states/restore points before the run. It would otherwise hold back VC players that can't play on DS. It has the same effect as the internal time change so there's no point in banning it.
This would work but I think src would add the tab to all of the ILs
A problem with separating emu onto another tab thingy is that most people would ignore the runs in the other sections, and it wouldn't be fair to those runners
What about pipes you need to press up for like in 5-2
It is true that the video could just not include the save state. If there's no save state during the run it wouldn't provide an unfair advantage, so I think allowing it wouldn't change anything.
Yeah my runs are recorded pretty bad but it still works. I don't think emulators will be banned soon but official console is the best way to play
I think the one on the main leaderboard is used more, since that's where the most recent runs are. Not sure why the same leaderboard is here too.
You need a good enough PC to use DS emulators without lag, and not everybody has the money to invest a lot of money into a good enough PC. I think that the 25 minute video requirement should stay for just the DS/3DS. It's extremely easy to record your PC or TV screen.
Having all emulator runs be recorded makes sense, if you can use a DS emulator you should be able to record it. Not sure if changing the DS video requirement is a good idea because it will ruin a lot of runs.
I don't know anything about this emulator, but could you connect a controller to it? That would solve the keyboard issue, if we required a hand cam for emulators. I do know there is an FPS display in DesMuMe, so that could be displayed on screen during runs.
