The Japanese version has an exclusive glitch which makes it faster than the English Gamecube version for New Game runs (The glitch is useless for New Game + so Jp and EN NG+ are fine), so it's considered a different category due to that. You can do runs of JP if you wish. Maybe in the future I could submit a Japanese leader board for it exclusively.

You only need to rebuild Luin in the NG+ speed runs. Go to guides and go to the symphonia hub if you require even further help or an in depth guide as well as practice files and speed run ready NG+ files. Hope this helps :3

If you really want to do runs it'd be best to look at the world record videos or look at my ever changing guide since I'm optimizing everything. It'd be lovely to see another runner give this game a shot ^_^

Well I'll keep things short and simple. My name is Jason Mota, or you can just call me Jay. I'm 19 years old and Currently 3rd in both categories for this game due to my imense love for it back in 2004 and it's been 10 years since and I'm still playing it without it being a chore, despite how annoying it can be to reset constantly. I originally got into speed running when i saw Omegaevolution and fanatic doing runs but now their runs are garbage lol. Currently I just finished rerouting NG with Dabomstew and Blackrazgriz and everything is finalized and i hope to get a sub 6:30 for NG+ and sub 7:30 for NG runs
