Ah, apologies for not seeing this sooner. AS of yet, we have not added categories for individual act levels. However, if the demand for it is high, we could attempt to add it into our leaderboards!
Ok, so i just had a quick thing to ask. If you are going to submit a run in any category, please try your hardest to include audio with your video. This is important as audio is a key factor in finding out if a run is legit, but also because it helps people have a better viewing experience; should someone want to watch your run. There's not much I can really do to stop this from happening, but I thought I would let everyone know before these runs become more common. Thanks!
Hi, we added the ability to show time in milliseconds, so the times will be more accurate!As for the document, I did think of that a while back. I would like to add those records, but we do require a video for proof and viewing purposes. I suppose I could try to track them all down, however there's a lot of them to go through, and I don't think I could do that all myself. Not to mention the runs should be submitted by the player in question, in case they don't want their run to be recorded here for whatever reason. I guess my suggestion if anyone REALLY wants those records here, is to try contacting that specific person and asking them if they wanted to. Other than that, thanks for letting me know!
I have added a Level leaderboard for Sprint and Marathon, so feel free to submit any challenge mode runs! Also, respond to this thread if you want any other challenges added, though keep in mind it has to be based around speedrunning and time. :)
Since this is a speedun website, I think that Ultra would be the best one to do. I'm sure there are other websites that are more focused on score based leaderboards, though. I mean, if the demand is high enough, I suppose we could do it all, though it would also be hard to keep track of it in this format. Just my thoughts though. :P
Ok, The board has been officially changed. NG and NG+ runs will all remain, and the standard from now on will to be to use a completed file. Meaning, you should probably use a completed save instead of a new one, and if you want to do one with a new game, then more power to you. This has also been added to the rules for each category. Thanks again for the feedback!
Alright, so i've been thinking about adding a new rule to all the categories. New rule being that you have to start on a new save file. This is to ensure that all runs are fair and equal. This rule should be pretty obvious, although I've already seen plenty of runs that play on completed files. (In case you don't know, when you play on a new file you lose quite a few seconds and maybe minutes because you have to click through all the "you unlocked this" text boxes) Let me know what you guys think!

And at about 6:04, he used the rocket nozzle glitch to get into corona mountain early. Is there a reason this isn't used to beat the game really quickly? (Also, it's been a couple years since I've played Mario Sunshine, so i don't remember exactly when you get the rocket nozzle and all that)
Kind of a late reply, but I think that would be a decent idea. As for a capture card, I use an HDPVR2 Gaming edition that I bought off of Ebay for like $50. It works great for basically every console.
I'm pretty sure you have to clear all data beforehand. At least for Any% and 100%. I'm curious on how you were able to clear your save data because I'm having trouble with that myself.
