Okay, so I've done a couple of runs this afternoon. Collected all Dino Files. All Blue Files. Bought all weapons. Bought all Tools. I can finish a run in under 1:25:00 on Duckstation meaning PC players can probably do this run in under 1:15:00 and thats with the run not being optimised. I've spent 7 minutes of thsi run grinding outside the final building to get the final points I need. https://gyazo.com/0df585799ab08082dd4ac4f8af12568f I will be streaming the run tomorrow so I can get a recorded version to show the mods and we will work it from there but I've had a great bit of fun running and planning it today.
I'm just in the middle of mapping. Will hopefully have something to put forward in the next day or so.
My wording is slightly off of course. 100% probably isn’t the way of describing the category. The list that RapixOnGaming has made with all the requirements is exactly what I was aiming at. Call it a “Collector’s%” if you will. Essentially collecting everything that can be collected from the game in one run. I can have a look at the feasibility of this run and potentially put a video together for you guys to look at although I’m sure others will be willing to do so also. I feel it would bring back the casual arcade grind of the game to the runners that run it and I feel they’d see it as an enjoyable run. “All bosses” is another category that could be implemented. Fight T-Rex to the point where the on screen message tells you it’s useless. Allosaurus at the Research Facility. Nessy Knocking T-Rex down in the tank. First Ginganto fight Final Giganto fight.
I've been talking to a few members of the DC2 community and wondered what the chances of 100% completion runs being added to teh leaderboards would be. This would entail collecting everything (All Files, Dino Files, Weapons, Sub Weapons, Items etc). Me and a couple of others feel this would be a fun category to add and would be good to mix it up from the usual grind.
Let me know your thoughts! Dave
I already run with all of these settings the way they are specified here so I am okay with this.
No problem. Will continue with the usual for now then. Thank you!
Probably a silly question but are we allowed to submit runs using the new Rebirth patch by our legend Gemini? Want to crack on with some PB attempts today but don’t want to be submitting anything I’m not allowed
Check the resources section for everything you need. Information for livesplit and such can be found there.
Mine works fine for all scenarios. Never had a problem with it. What do you mean in terms of "slows down"?
No problem. Just I want to run for WR next week and want to make sure I’m using the correct emulation and programs. Thank you for the advice!
I know we are currently working out which emulator would be best to use for the leaderboard but could I have some idea on what Emu I should be using if I haven't got it already? Are we using PSXJin? And if so, how do you set up your controller to work with it because I am currently having no joy. And if it is Duckstation, would it be usable through RetroArch?
I'm all for the changes!
I agree that splitting the PSP and Emu runs should be done. Nothing else really affects me so I shouldn't have my say on anything else but as a newcomer to running games the PSP/Emu divide is disheartening. Literally splitting these categories would solve a lot of problems which clearly exist in this community.
Hi there, I want to start running RE3 og but have a couple of problems. I know in RE2 you can change the controls to fit your needs in the In Game Menus but in this you have to F2 to bring a dialogue box up. When this box comes up its far too small to see all the information to change every control. I have a picture here to show you exactly what it looks like. I was wondering if there is something I can do to make this box bigger to see the rest of the controls so I can change them.

Kind regards.
