Speedrunning is a thing where you have to dedicate a lot of time to grinding if you want to become the best player, so it’s very easy to get burnout from it. Also I think some people have moved on. Crakerr I know is playing soccer now, and some other runners have just got caught up with schoolwork (myself included). There’s also the fact that not much new content has been added to the game. About a year ago the series only had pages for the first game, and some of Moto X3M Winter. Because of that, I think the game has gotten stale for some people. Of course I could be wrong, but I think those are the main reasons.
Also CoKoNut for the level 1 time I did it based off of the time at the top of the screen, which is a 6.75.
Honestly the rules haven't been updated in a really long time, which is kinda my fault. I have a bad computer, so I can't record for CMG and Poki, so I just do the endscreen. And since no one minds if I just post the end screen, I do it like that for mobile as well. Also, my runs are not screenshots they are video uploaded on my YouTube channel, so it would be a lot more difficult to do it like that anyway. We cannot afford to require video evidence, as a lot of people would be unable to submit runs that way.
I think the game is small enough right now to where we can stay with just the end screens for proof, but the we will make sure to check runs well just to be safe.
Yeah that's totally allowed, there's even a skip using that on level 20
You basically have to spam click in order to skip levels. Easier with lag, but still incredibly difficult to get a 1-25 skip. Sorry for being late on responding I didn't see the comment until just now.
I don't run the later levels because for some reason my game progress doesn't save when I close my tab with poki on it. If it did, I would run the later levels more.
Yeah I talked with the other mods a while back and we voted 2-1 to make a new poki category because new runners might be confused by the level order. I was the one who voted against it, but at the time the standing on whether or not to make a new category was pretty split. I'm not sure what the opinion is on it now, but the leaderboard is likely going to stay the same regardless. The first 10 levels are quite optimized as well, it's just that 11-50 aren't as much.
It's a bit sad to hear but I totally understand. Good luck on whatever you're doing and I wish you the best :)
He used his school google account for his yt channel and to submit his runs so the account got deleted I think (sometimes schools do that over the summer) and he lost all his stuff. I strongly disagree with removing his runs as since they were considered legitimate during the time viewing was available, that there was no evidence found to say that he was cheating, and that he had a good excuse for why the runs are not able to be viewed, they should stay up.
I see what poki did. It looks like it's the levels in order of the mobile version but with the timer stopping when you die still. So no need to make it a separate category but that's what it was updated to.
I think if we applied to make poki its own leaderboard it would just get rejected because it is still technically part of the same game. It's possible we'll have to expand the levels but I'll have to talk with the other mods about it, and they are all asleep or busy right now.
Dang the game is dying rn. I hope new runners will stop by but I'll keep running the game regardless. I wish you luck with everything Crakerr.
