What's the solution? I am encountering the same problem right now and nothing seems to help.
I think it is also worth noting that:
- on the level "Young technician" (that with the shooting robots) sometimes the robots are facing your way, then it's easy to avoid their bullets, but if they are facing the opposite direction it is quite hard to avoid the bullets since you also have to worry about avoiding the robot itself, it might be useful to determine what causes the direction of shooting
- on the train after seeing the prompt about the tunnel you should just stick to the green carriage and wait a bit for Wolf to actually fall between carriages, no movement should be done to avoid death (on medium)
Actually the game works really well in windowed mode with the use of Dxwnd.
Yeah that might be a bit of a problem, but not much we can do about it right now since we don't have autosplitter for the game yet.
I'll try the higher difficulties for sure, it's just that currently I'm dying a bit too much to get a decent time :P But I hope that will change soon.
As for the beginning of measuring, I think the same as you, that we should start the countdown immediately after the first loading screen disappears. I'll correct my previous time
And where do you think the end of timing should be? When we see the last screen with points summary (on the ship)?
That's so cool, sure will be useful in the next speedruns! I have always thought that you can somehow skip the section on that bridge but never quite figured how to do it.
