Utah, USATitle should explain everything. I am the only active runner in the Solomon's Keep community, and I am moderator, but the supermoderator has been inactive for a very long time. I don't want him removed from being a moderator or anything, especially since he started the game on Speedrun.com, but I would like to have full control of the game if he's not coming back. So I was wondering: Is it possible to switch places with him?
I have discovered a way to skip the first cutscene of the game. If you open the menu and exit the game, you can re enter the game and move while solomon's voice line is still playing. This will save only a couple of seconds, but it is very easy to perform.
Through experimentation, I have discovered that the in game timer resets to the time of the last autosave upon death. This means that the in game timer is inaccurate for runs in which the player dies. I believe we should change the way the game is timed in order to reflect this, and my world record run should be edited accordingly. The in game timer appears to start on the first frame after "It was a dark and stormy night..." disappears. So, in runs not including deaths, the run time should be decided by the in game timer, and in runs including death, the run time should start on the frame the in game timer begins and end of the frame "Victory" appears.
