With the announcement of a brand new Mortal Kombat Collection for current-gen consoles and Steam, how would the categories change?

We'd have to see it first. It goes without saying that we will be supporting it. We will most likely just allow submissions with it for each of the respective platforms that it supports. It would be essentially just be considered "emulation".

If there are any functional or frame rate differences it would most likely be put into its own category but that is very highly unlikely.
