Soo... for some reason when ever I try to grab the Sigil, the game won't register that i'm touching it... anybody know why?

If you turn towards the Sigil after climbing the ladder, then the gun will shoot you before you can grab the Sigil, even though it looks like you can grab it. All you have to do is run straight after climbing the ladder and you will be able to get the Sigil.
