Why not? It will be slower cuz KB+M supremacy, also SSD maybe, but i dont see any rough reasons to not make console speedrun if you want to.

Some specific tricks may have been patched by the developers.

Which is the main reason why the Steam version is pretty much the best one to run on (also because there is a speedrun patch by the developers).
