Hello! I am new to speedrunning this game and want to start timing runs, but It is taking me a while to beat the special cup 100cc. Is there a way to unlock 150cc so I can start doing runs before I beat special cup?

I'm about 99.8% sure that the only way to unlock 150cc is to get gold on all the cups in 100cc. The above button combo will only unlock Special cup in TT and MR.

you shouldn't try to unlock 150cc early. If 100cc is too hard, then 150cc will overwhelm you. take this time to practice

Well i just beat it- and accidentally loaded a save state and lost it XD. I am getting a lot better though, cant wait to start doing runs!
