Like if I got a 5:03 but I didn't use any glitches, could I upload it to both Any% and Glitchless?
fast accel isn't currently considered a glitch (since the devs most likely intended for mario to accelerate faster when facing the opposite direction)
Probably because it's just hard to do and doesn't save many framerules, I'm pretty sure it's only been done in one WR ever (at least in any%).
Any framerule improvement would be major, but no WR runs have used it effectively in 8-1 or 4-2, as it is (currently) too difficult for RTA.
Oh ok. And I know it's hard. The only WR I know that uses the fast acceleration (in 8-4)is by kosmicd12's 4:56.462.
