I make TASes of SMB 1 pretty often, and I always see people on YouTube with to separate times, one Real Time Attack and the other Tool Assisted Speed timing. I just subtract the first frame I see "400" on the timer from the frame I see Mario touch the Axe. Then my runs are like 5:07, when they are like 4:58 pace. IDK. Thanks so much for help ;)
maybe youre on pal so the after flagpole time takes longer? not sure though.
I usually do NTSC with the USA ROM. Although the last tas I did was on PAL. Thanks.
I also do FPG on 1-1
Well I actually make tasses but i'm still not done but I configuring it out what is the time on IL but still don't know how to convert it to rta. Can i have a video link?
So you want a link to the video? (Also I don't know what IL means)
And I am sorry I didn't respond for so long
I put two in a folder because I don't know which is faster. (These are the best of my PAL tasses BTW)

Well I finish the tas in like 3 days or 4 days ago (I don't remember). I kind of time it manually and the result was 5:06.59 I don't know what was the exact time because I made a mistake that I created the tas in Super Mario Bros. + Duck hunt + World Class rom. But anyways I thought you're not quite new to speedrun this game well I'm quite new too you know. I also have a problem about speedrun.com were when the notification s never come so it's hard time to reply and also, "Timezones".
The timer starts the frame that you see "400" on the clock in 1-1, and ends on the frame you hit the axe/frame everything disappears when hitting the axe.
I actually managed to do it by calculate on how many frames past after the timer starts at 400 and at the axe using Bowser's patterns. I'm just messing up 4-2 and get 375 which means i turn my tas into any% non Glitchless.
Effective immediately, any submissions using the SNES9x emulator will not be verified. The SMB1 mod team has concerns about its integrity due to its ability to overclock and remove lag frames, which may not be easily detectable. Additionally, we request that all BizHawk submissions avoid using the S
