There's a discussion over RE5 about their leaderboards and this example from another mk64 came up. http://www.speedrun.com/mk64 Is it possible we could get subcategories like this to separate all the consoles or are there too many for this to be a realistic option?

Honestly, there's too many consoles to separate them all into sub-categories. I do think that the LB's are fine the way they are with the dropdowns, but I would be open to separating the difficulties through sub-categories. But I would need to hear from the mods before changing anything.

Main reason I like the idea of the sub categories is that while the drop downs do look clean, the actual list of runs does not. Honestly I've always felt like the list of runs looks like a cluttered mess with all different consoles, fps, and multiple runs by the same runners all mixed in. To us, we can look at that and manage to make sense of it but I imagine it's likely terribly confusing to someone visiting our boards. The sub categories resolve this because then each thing you click on displays runs done for that console and that console only. It's true that we do have hella consoles which would make it a little harder but if we put it to thought I'm sure we could figure something out
