Hello so you may of noticed not all challenges are on the speedrun boards and that is because we don't want to clutter the boards with un-ran categories if you end up running a challenge that isn't currently on the board please put it in this thread and myself or FreshRigi will add the run to the boards Have a good one.
Hello! It doesn't seem like anyone has run the Survivalist Challenges before. Could I post the inaugural run please?
Could easily knock a huge chunk out of this - 1 hour 57 minutes and 55 seconds. Should have reset for not catching 3 Bluegill on the bounce, had the consecutive small game arrows reset on me, and didn't get the best RNG with the fish. Probably wouldn't post this is I was and established runner but it's my first attempt at steaming one so I thought I'd upload it. Probably better on average to go for more of the legendary fish off the bat in Survivalist 10 given you know for certain they'll be there, but they do take longer to catch, I guess if you had good rng going for the normal versions would be quicker.
I thought I'd do Master Hunter too, so every Challenge has an active run. Again, first attempt and not the best time. My tracking 10 animals was appalling. FreshRigi also called in an pointed out I could have stored some Rabbits on my horse before starting - a neat trick I hadn't considered. I did get very lucky on the Bears though. Cougars took 45 minutes but I expected that to be a problem. Be interested to see how quickly that bit can be done by a regular runner!
