Auto Hotkey to rebind Quick Save and Quick Load

In order to rebind Quick Save and Quick load, you have to install AutoHotkey and create a script.

1. Download and Install AutoHotkey https://www.autohotkey.com/download/
2. Right-Click your Desktop and select New>AutoHotkey Script
3. Name your script whatever you would like
4. Open the Script with NotePad
5. Delete everything in the document and put in these two lines

<key you want to use>::f5
<key you want to use>::f9

Example - I have mine set to 5 and 6

5::f5
6::f9

6. Before you start your game, run the script

Now you should be able to use any key you would like to Quick Save and Quick Load. 

Remember, this script is system wide so if you use any other application the script will still be turned on. You will have to manually go down to your system tray and either Pause or Exit the script.

Fixing the Downpatch

Downpatch  Fixes

The downpatch on speedrun.com works but introduces some bugs (UI stuff disappear, temporary invincibility). That happens because the later versions added a patch file, and the 1.0 loads it. To play in true 1.0, you must delete the following file :  Prey/GameSDK/Precache/patch.pak

How to use the load remover

I see lots of runs being submitted where the runner is manually pausing instead of using the load remover, which makes their runs difficult to verify.  Please use the load remover, here is how:

1. Right click on Livesplit
2. Select "edit splits"
3. Where it says "Load removal is available" click the button that says "activate"
4.  Right click on livesplit again, select "compare against", then select "game time".
5.  If it is not working, make sure your game is set in LiveSplit as "Prey (2017)" not "Prey"
6.  DO NOT MANUALLY PAUSE YOUR SPLITS.
