The previous guide and mod have been taken down, so a new remake of the mod was needed. The mod is slightly different, but it is essentially the same.

(This mod works for all versions of the game)

The mod can be downloaded at: https://github.com/thingamajig0/ChaosPercentPortal/releases/tag/v1.0.2 You only need to download the .exe file.

After downloading it you want to open it and start the "First Time Setup" that should pop up. If it does not, make sure that you don't have the chaos% .cfg files or `ChaosConfig.txt´ in your cfg folder. (Source Unpack\portal\cfg)

You will need to select your fov, m_yaw and viewmodelfov, if you do not know what some of these mean, just set the default. Then you will select your cfg folder, with the path located above.

For you to be able to start, you will need to have portal open, click the button that says `Start the Chaos´ and type in the console 'exec chaos'. Then you can start your run.

Once you do this, it is done!

For recording the runs you can either capture the window of the mod and crop it to only show the commands that show up or you can enable "Streamer Mode", which will create a text file that shows all the commands.
