So it seems that the graphics settings you use may have an affect on your jumps. Yoshipro101 has messed with it a bit and I'm sure he has some info to share but it appears that the graphic settings do play a role outside of making it look good/bad.

To clarify, Simple/Gorgeous play the exact same

However, playing on Medium locks your framerate for whatever reason, which for sure gives you more of a boost from moving platforms, and potentially makes clips easier. The lower framerate makes a lot of the tricks harder though.

It seems that Simple locks your FPS to 60, medium locks it to 30 and Gorgeous locks it to the framerate your monitor is, a friend of mine has a 144hz monitor and his FPS locked at about 144.
