A lot of battles are complicated. Please make sure to SAVE for those complicated battles. In general, I recommend saving a lot when learning the game, but specifically the following battles can be more complicated or dangerous, so I absolutely recommend to save for them:
- Bede 1 (in Galar Mine 1)
- Milo (in the Grass gym)
- Nessa (in the Water gym)
- The Team Yell Double battle in Galar Mine 2.
- Kabu (in the Fire gym)
- Artist Duncan (after climbing all the ladders on Route 6 on your way to Stow-On-Side)
- Opal (in the Fairy gym)
- Hop 6 (east of Hammerlocke after beating Opal)
- Piers (in the Dark gym)
- Marnie 3 (in the Pokémon League)
- All fights requiring you to use Hydro Cannon (Bede, Bea, Raihan in the Pokémon League)
- Chairman Rose
