I dont understand why, but a lot of people are sending in troll runs. Please, stop. We don't want to watch your yt video, we dont want to watch Rick Astley. We want to verify runs. That's what we are here for. Please, send runs, no poop posts.

Are there really people who do that? Isn't that against the terms of service from Speedrun.com?

@YNiekAC yeah one instance someone posted an all chapter run but instead of an actual run, it was just Rick Astley's never gonna give you up. One time, maybe it's ok, mods might get a laugh out of it, but it keeps happening, and it's just wasting the moderators' time.

Adding on to this, please don’t post a run that isn’t a speedrun and is just to promote your video, channel, etc

I was just scrolling through forums and found this. Now sorry for necroposting but I also want to add something for the mods. If someone submits a fake run, just ignore the run and eventually a site mod will find it and ban the user. That's what we did in r64. If a site mod didn't respond to it for 5 days, DM them the run via Discord and one of them will take action soon enough, since submitting cheated/fake/troll runs is a bannable offense.

exactly that. Reject the run and send a screenshot to a site mod if you want to take further action. We've seen a HUGE influx in this kind of thing in sr4
