Something has been bugging me for a while now, sub 30 all chap glitchless. I did some math (and SG too) and we have concluded that it is going to nearly impossible. Here's what I mean:
The best times I found on the site for each chap is this (NOT ALL 6 PLAYER): House: 1:05 Station: 1:05 Gallery: :39 Forest: 1:40 School: 1:16 Hospital: :50 Metro: :55 Carnival: 1:13 City: 1:28 Mall: 1:26 Outpost: 1:34 Plant: 2:22
Which means... 14:43 (Time for all chap) + ~18:30 (cutscenes) = 33:13
3:13 needs to be shaved off. Impossible? I don't know.
Sub 33: Possible Sub 32: Eh, Maybe is we find some things Sub 31 and 30: Nearly Impossible or Impossible
Our goal is to try to get a Sub 32, and we have a discord server as well. Join https://discord.gg/gcNNASk to help our cause.
House 40 seconds is possible. Station 40 seconds is possible. Gallery 31 seconds is possible Forest 1:23 is possible. School 1:00 is possible. Hospital 47 seconds is possible. Metro 46 seconds is possible. Carnival 1:12 is possible. City stays 1:28 Mall 1:15 is possible. Outpost 1:25 is possible. Plant can't get much better than 2:20. That's a little less than 13:30 +18:30 cutscenes, which is barely sub 32. The rng needed is unbelievable tho. I've calculated it and it's a 46,080/710,919,696,678,912 chance, which is 0.0000000064817%. No, I didn't bash my head on my keyboard. That's actually the chance needed for a perfect all chapter run. Still think we can get sub 32 Banana?
Hmm, its possible, its just the question if we can beat it before the heat death of the universe, ya know?
RTA timing is usually used only for loading purposes. EX: it’s used in Minecraft because it might take a long time to load in the nether. They do this to make it fair among players with bad PCs, and players with God PCs. It doesn’t really make sense to use RTA timing in piggy, since it will almost always take the same amount of time to load in. And if you get delayed, sucks for you.
We might get a minute of time save in the first 3 chapters when the chapters 1-3 end cutscenes come out.
Not exactly. When those cutscenes rolled, the intermission countdown still went on. So the new cutscenes don’t make a difference
That’s not how it works intermission timer only starts counting when there’s a player who presses play if they press back it continues counting down (correct me if I’m wrong)
intermission is always counting down but if there isn’t a player who pressed play when the timer reaches 0 it restarts
I think I’m wrong but I think when you pressed play it counts down and when you hit back it stops, until you either hit play, so it resumes, or you leave the game, to where it restarts
