July2022/Glitchless Rules Update

Hello there! It’s been a while since our June update so it’s definitely time for our July updates. This will be a combined post involving July updates along with rule updates for Glitchless & 100%.

Your July Updates Are As Follows:

-Nun Massacre: Definitive Edition Leaderboard Is Live! You can find a link via the Nun Massacre Sub Games or by searching Nun Massacre on SRC: https://www.speedrun.com/nun_massacre_definitive_edition

-Categories Are Live For Each Scenario Including Nun, Circus, Backrooms & Factory.

-Glitchless & 100% Rules Are Updated To Reflect The Recent Findings In Full Runs. More Details Are Listed Down Below.

Glitchless & 100% Rules Update:

Effective Immediately All Runs Submitted Under The Glitchless & 100% Categories Are Required To Be Capped At 60 FPS Or Lower. This Rule Was Set In Place From Recent Findings Involving Glitchless Runs Where The Clock Segment Would Be Affected By High FPS And Resulting In Faster Clock Speeds.

Example:

In Order To Have The Most Fair And Equal Leaderboards As We Possibly Can, We’ve Limited The FPS To 60 When Playing Glitchless & 100% So Runs Are Less Hardware Dependent. If Any More Finds Are Made You’ll Be Notified Via A News Update And Rules Are Always Subject To Change As More Technical Finds Appear.

Credits Timing Update.

Just a quick update regarding the timing rules for categories with credits as the point timing stops.

It has been brought to our attention that the credit screen itself varies in terms of when it appears on screen depending on what resolution/graphics you play on.

In order to negate this all categories rules with credits being the end of the run (Credits% & Bad Ending #1) are now updated to stop on the first frame of the black screen when credits begin.

All runs are re-timed and updated to reflect this.

Welcome to Nun Massacre’s first monthly update regarding the official speedrun leaderboard.

We haven’t met but my name is Zomb Slays. I’m a member of your new moderation team along with Mild Goth Daddy, Mild brought me along to help with re-times, maintenance, and overall leaderboard adjustments.

Your May 2022 update is as follows:

-All categories re-timed and rules adjusted to reflect each category.

-Runs removed that are invalid or missing VOD.

-Moved Bad Ending 1 & 2 to main categories and Credits% to miscellaneous.

-Minor leaderboard updates including milliseconds added to all runs.

Make sure you take a look around the leaderboards and check the updated rules for each category.
