[NTSC] How to drive any car on any track (Gameshark code)

Recently I found a code that allows you to change the car before the race start. (works only on NTSC version)

The last 4 symbols are ID of car you want to drive. For now I will only share the ones that are the most useful for level runs.

Classic Era cars:

0084 - 911 Carrera RS Coupe

0005 - 550 A Spyder

Golden Era cars:

0067 - 959

0065 - 917K "Short Tail"

Modern Era cars:

00F2 - 911 Turbo (996)

0066 - 911 GT1 Race

What's nice is you are able to pre-tune the car before the race. It applies to swapped vehicle.

That way we are able to clear an empty level categories. (for example Dusk Valley in Modern Era)

Which version is faster depending on the game

So what I mean by the title of this guide is simple, depending on the region version of this game depends on what sort of runs you can do. You can do long runs or IL's on both versions just to clear that up. 



NTSC (**Need for Speed: Porsche Unleashed**) has a slower IGT and overall runs slower than PAL in load times so if you want to get a good time on IL's use this version.

PAL (**Need for Speed: Porsche 2000**) has a faster IGT and overall runs faster than NTSC meaning it is much harder to get good times on the game in terms of IL runs however if you were to do a much longer run like Evolution or Factory driver then you can save a lot of time over NTSC runs.

Due to an issue stemming from this being a PS1 title which can run a bit unstable, the timer can desync and produces results that differ from the actual real time it has taken to complete a lap. As such, there will now be a new annotation for runs to signify if they've been manually retimed or not.
