These are my notes for running both Junior and Senior difficulties. It's basically Arglefumph's 2017 route (so not the one also found in this guide section) with a few tweaks that I think are slightly faster/make more sense to me.

Since these notes are pretty much pasted verbatim from my personal notes, there's a fair chance that there's either slightly inaccurate/missing info that I memorized the corrections to and forgot to update while running. Also I'm sure there are plenty of instructions that make perfect sense to me that may not be intelligible to you. Feel free to DM me any questions/errata on Twitch (twitch.tv/toburr).

Route

This is the route I used in March, 2014, minus the screenshots. I've been told there are two possible improvments.

1. Someone says you can skip the anagram buster.
2. Someone else said that you can cheat out of making Katie a sandwich.  "You know, you don't actually have to make Katie a sandwich. There will be a option that Nancy says "Would you like a sandwich?" then it'll give an option after saying "Here's a sandwich for you" and then Katie will be okay. It saves about a random 10 seconds, but you don't have to run over and look at the fridge at all in the game :)"




•	Opening convo: 2
•	Make a sandwich with ketchup.
•	Fix Katie's sink!
•	  
•	On the deck, see the GPS isn't working.  Talk to Katie.  Convo: 1-2-1-1-2-2.
•	HOT KETTLE CAFÉ.  Go straight forward.  Right of window is SPADES.  
•	Talk to Holt. Convo: 1-2-2-1-1-2-2-2-2-1-1—end.
•	The sun always sets in the west.
•	What is the current fine for clamming without a permit in Snake Horse Harbor? $138.43
•	The left side of a boat is its port side.
•	The moon always rises in the east.

•	LIGHTHOUSE. Find the crab. Go straight for the far side.
 
•	Holt chases you away from the lighthouse proper.
•	Find the piece of wood from SS on the rocks.

•	Go to Holt for the GPS. Holt Convo: 1 – 2 – 2 – 2
•	Katie's boat.  Ask Katie about the piece of wood. She wants you to call Casey.  Katie convo: 2 – 2 – end
•	Go inside and call Casey. Casey convo: 2-2
•	Go to book area. Set up wood for microscope. Nancy babbles for a bit; when she does, go down and fix Katie's books
 
•	Look back up and use microscope.
•	Call Dr. Predoviciu. Dr. Convo:
Is the wood sample black, brown or yellow? Brownish

Does the sample have many holes, a couple, or none at all? Many
And are there some holes that are big and some that are small, or are they all the same size? All the same size
And the holes are really, really tiny, right? No, they're pretty sizeable
Are there any distinguishable horizontal lines on the sample? Yes, there are horizontal lines
•	Press down button twice and call Casey.
•	Go to kayak. A bottle is floating above it.
•	Go out on kayak. Two forward, you find a bottle.
•	Reverse direction, go forward, then turn right. Go four forward, turn left, then forward twice. Turn left and forward into the caves. You want the left cave. Grab bottle, spin around and leave the caves.
•	 
•	Kayak. 2 forward, turn right, 2 forward, turn right, 2 forward, turn left, forward to beach.
•	Go to far end. Inside some seaweed is a shell.

•	Get paper one, then move to paper 2.  Ask HS AJ JD for Hilda's gift
•	Go to Page 2 and move down, then back away.
•	Kayak. Forward one, turn left. Forward two. Turn right and all the way forward.
•	Holt convo: 1-1-end
•	Holt wants you to do his chess puzzle. Look in his duffel. Right book has the lighthouse #.
•	In Junior Detective, the answers are Q to D6 and Q to D8. Give it to him. Pick first option.
•	Jenna convo: 2-2-2-1-4-1-1-3.
•	Go Whale World. Try to do a game to learn you need a card.
•	Andy convo: 3-3-4-1
•	Do the games! Start with games on THE RIGHT..

•	Solve the matching puzzle on the seat. The solution is random.
•	 Go to next room and solve the final card puzzle.
 
•	KATIE'S.  Katie convo. 1-1-1-1
•	Use the anagram buster to get "telephone number". Click out of it.
•	HOT KETTLE KAFE. Enter hidden passageway. Go right, then forward all the way, then right. Minor scene.  Forward to door.  At the end, you get the door with a bottle of spray.  Pick it up, then pull the lever to open the door.  Through here, you find the snake puzzle on door. Push the two middle pieces up.
•	Go back the way you came.
•	LIGHTHOUSE.  Password is 3457. Go inside and pull the hidden lever. Now spin around outside and go to lighthouse basement. Get bulb #6 and fix the door by moving the two pieces up.  Hidden area!
•	Go to top of lighthouse. Put bulb in, and use oilcan spray to get rid of rust.  Send this message to Hilda:

•	KAYAK.  One forward. Left. Four forward. Left. Two forward. Left. Forward to caves, go to left cave.
•	Check out Katie's gloves and leave. Phone Convo=1.
•	KAYAK. Two Forward. Right. Two forward. Right. Four forward. Right. Forward to exit.
•	HOT KETTLE CAFÉ.  Holt convo: 1-1-1
•	WHALE WORLD.  Andy convo: 2-1-2-1
•	Climb up.  Left, forward, left.  Right, forward, right. Forward, right, U-turn, forward, right.
•	Go into ship and un-gag Katie. Go left to hide.
•	Stop Andy by using scuba tank on whale pen.
