It's on this leaderboard because it IS a speedrun of multiple Mario games, even if they're not main series games. Mario Party does not have a leaderboard like this. Made more sense to add a category to an existing leaderboard rather than make a new leaderboard.
Only 1-8 were included because the Handheld games and Wii U games are hard (impossible?) to emulate. I'm not an emulator guy, so I don't know a lot about it, and Mario Party 9 was bad.
There is no "Multiple Mario Party Games" leaderboard anywhere. Do some research before ranting. Thanks :)
The 8 games together without their systems would cost $300. Add in their systems and controllers, and you're spending about $450. Allowing emulators makes the run accessible for everyone. :-)
You can now submit runs to the 602 and 1862 leaderboards under the TA filter if you took breaks for sleep and paused the timer! Rules will be more in depth on the category pages on the leaderboard.
