Dig dropping is where you quickly open up inventory and drop cheap minerals to make room for better ones and digging down at the same time. You usually manage to drop one ore two ores before the inventory automatically closes. This doesn't show down the digging time whatsoever plus eliminates the need to stop to make room in your inventory. While small timesave when done once overall in the run KaleviJaska predicts the timesave is around 20 seconds.
