apparently there is an iOS version that works with devices that run iOS 9 or older. As iOS 10 is no longer supporting 32-bit apps.

you can install the game using a 3rd party installer (like iFunbox) on your old devices.

maybe if you have an older Windows Phone device you can play it. It's "currently not available" on the store tho - but you can find a version to download in the comments of this video: word is you can emulate windows phone with Windows 8 or 10 but only Pro. It is worth a shot for those interested.
There is hope due to a lot of work being done for touchHLE, with support for iOS 3 and newer planned, follow progress here: (will update once Mirror's Edge mobile is confirmed to work)
