In the WR run (https://www.speedrun.com/mememe/runs/yoo0w1dy) I see a sidestep boost is used at 13m 18s to skip the trigger for meeting Jacknife, or something like that. Are we allowed to do this in our runs? I thought this would fall under no sidestep boosting.

That's just a sidestep, which is allowed. A sidestep boost would be if they turned their camera to keep the speed from the sidestep.

Ah ok, thought it just meant any sidestep in the direction of travel.
