I really think it’s not necessary a 1.18 new category because basically the difference is just that there are no lava pools and that’s it, I play 1.18 and I got an unofficial PB of 33:25 from a RSG and it was in hard difficulty so, I think that it’s okay if there’s no new category I don’t mind if they actually add one but I consider it unnecessary. So, if a player that plays in hard mode with a controller did a 33:25 run, then I think that all people could get a good run in 1.18 and still will be fair.

Idk @doraplaz, I think people r just giving their opinion as you rn. I’m okay with whatever the decision ends being. But I think it’s going to stay the same though which is okay for me. What I don’t like is that people think that 1.18 is a disadvantage because it isn’t, you just need to get used to it and learn the patterns that I said earlier so, yes.
just tell swaggycat to make an unofficial 1.18 rsg leaderboard since he already made an ssg one
1.18 Set Seeds don't match anymore with pre-1.18 seeds. So Set Seed speedrun must have a category on their own for 1.18. Because a 1.18 player can't play in the same seed of a 1.16 one and beat his record. Unless someone will find a way to convert old seed to new seed, but only Dream could motivate the big brain nerds in the community, and Bedrock is more neglected than childs in africa (just sarcasm, please help them more).
It's a matter of fact that 1.18, since it completely messes up with world generation and seeds, MUST have its own category.

I think the unofficial leaderboard works for now, and I will add an RSG category. It's just a matter of people being able to know about the leaderboard and how to submit a run to it.
1.18 ssg is pretty bad, but rsg still has sub 20 potential possibly even wr. 1.18 only changed the amount of resets runners need to get a viable seed. Personally i dont think there needs to be a seperate board for 1.18.
Maybe a new 1.18 category would be okay but as I said earlier, idc if mods add new category or if they not.

After completing a Top Run (Top 5 Main Category/1st ILs), you must exit the world and go to the main menu.
For top Windows runners, you still have to do PowerShell verification.
