- Too bad they can't get discord. I wasn't allowed until 13, I suggest they wait as most of the players on here can use discord and do use it. It's also not like any monumentally important MC Speedrunners are under 13. 3)A whole new forum would be way too hard to maintain.

that literally makes no sense... this is speedrun.com, you need an src account to submit a run and there min. age for it is different from discord
You CAN'T put forward a run with out a speedrun.com profile and therefore You CAN'T put foward a Request without a Discord account. It is literally that simple.
Forums are used for DISCUSSION. Not for having casual conversations.
The two people above explained it pretty quickly too. If u have an src account there's no readon to not have discord either
