I have been thinking about this for a while, but I’m not sure if it’s allowed. There are websites out there that use coordinates and where you are facing to triangulate the stronghold. I (think) jojoe used it in his run, but I’m not entirely sure. They noted down coordinates of both eye throws and was able to find the stronghold. I couldn’t find anything specific in the rules so I’m asking here. Thanks to anyone who is able to help in advance.

You arent allowed to get the seed and put it in a stronghold finder, its against the rules and your run will not be counted.

bruh mods took down the dream threads for being too controversial, come on that had everything to do with speedrunning.

@nEmerald To be honest, I would recommend simply not using a stronghold calculator at all because it's under discussion currently to be removed

Thanks for the responses. Korbanoes has just uploaded a video using these strats (and it’s pretty op), so now I’m not sure anymore. I found a thread where the mods said that it was fine for now, but that was 3 months ago and it may have changed.

You can also try to create some random worlds and try to practise stronghold triangulation. This helps me a lot when I try to speedrun.
