Comprehensive Skip Guide (Last Updated June 2025)

Every skip in the game (with the exception of the Dock Work gate dash) uses a fusion move to either get out of bounds or clip through a door.

You will have to use either Penance or Storm to do these fusion skips. I will tell you who to use for each skip.

Penance's fusion clip works with Gambit, Human Torch, and Thing.

Storm's fusion clip works with Spider-Man and Thing.

Level 1: Latveria

1. Castle Doom skip (NG+ version w/ Penance) - Found by ImChloe_ 

Skip Description: As soon as you gain the ability to switch characters, turn around behind you at the start of Castle Doom and clip out. Fly to the lift at the end.

2. Laboratory door skip (Both categories w/ either) - Found by me

Skip Description: In Tinkerer's lab in the room before the Tinkerbot fight, clip through the door to skip the enemy fight. Yes it does save a little bit of time. About 10 seconds.

Level 2: NYC

1. Electrified door skip (NG+ w/ Penance only) - Found by ImChloe_

Skip Description: At the beginning of the level, you can clip through the electrified door rather than destroying the generator.

2. Factory floor skip (Both categories w/ either) - Found by Skullspidey

Skip Description: Go straight to the door and clip through to hit the trigger for the Grim Reaper fight. Skips destroying the 6 munitions.

Level 3: Washington D.C.

No skips in this level.

Important Note: If you are doing a New Game run, I strongly recommend picking up the boost here for an additional fusion star. It is located at the very beginning of the subway area over to the right.

Level 4: Hideout Raid (Pro-Reg Side)

1. Dock work out of bounds skips (NG+ w/ Penance only) - Found by ImChloe_

Skip Description: Go over to the boat at in right corner and clip out. Fly to the end where you fight Spider-Woman.

2. Dock work gate dash (New Game alternative) - Found by Skullspidey

Skip Description: Run past the gate at the very beginning to skip the boat.

3. Blast door section skip (Both categories w/ either) - Found by ImChloe_

Skip Description: Turn around at the very beginning of this section and clip out of bounds. Fly over the map and past the blast door to skip the entire section. You can hit the exit button from out of bounds on the ceiling.

4. Hercules boss fight skip / Cable early (NG+ w/ Penance only) - Found by ImChloe_

Level 5: Guard duty (Pro-Reg Side)

No skips in this level.

Level 6: Ambush (Pro-Reg Side)

1. Entire section skip / Colossus & Dagger early (NG+ w/ Penance only) - Found by ImChloe_

Skip Description: Clip out at the very beginning of the level and fly over to the end where you fight Colossus and Dagger. This skips the fights with Multiple Man, Patriot, and Firestar.

2. Pipe skip right after Multiple Man (New game alternative w/ Storm) - Found by me

Skip Description: Same thing except you have to fight Multiple Man first. Clip out at the pipe right after the Multiple Man fight.

3. Captain America chase skip (NG+ w/ Penance only) - Found by ImChloe_

Level 7: Prison

At the end of section 1, you will unlock Penance for use in New Game.

1. Maria Hill skip (Both categories w/ either) - Found by Skullspidey

Skip Description: Clip through the portal room door to skip getting the keycard from Maria Hill.

Skip Description: As soon as you begin the Nanite Lab section, turn around and clip through the door behind you, This skips the first half of the Nanite Labs where you fight Equinox. You'll need to clip back out after the cinematic.

3. Riot section skip (Both categories w/ Penance) - Found by Skullspidey

Skip Description: This skip lets you get out of bounds to bypass this entire section.

Level 8: Wakanda

1. Jungle skip (Both categories w/ Penance) - Found by me

Skip Description: Reload to get a fusion star and clip out against the trees right at the start of the level. Fly up to the Havoc boss fight.

2. Tribal city skip (Both categories w/ Penance) - Found by Skullspidey

Skip Description: Clip out at the very start of this section and jump down to the elevator to skip the whole thing.

Skip Description: Clip into the flower bed right beside the elevator when you get off. Fly up to Panther's lair to skip this whole section.

Level 9: Showdown

1. Ground assault skip (Both categories w/ Penance) - Found by ImChloe_

Skip Description: Reload to get a fusion star and clip out at the very beginning of the level. Fly to the end where you open the exit.

2. Whirlwind tornado wall skip (Both categories w/ Penance) - Found by ImChloe_

Skip Description: Instead of waiting for Whirlwind to fly down to you, clip past his tornado wall and proceed like normal.

3. Tinkerer boss fight skip (Both categories w/ Penance) - Found by me

Skip Description: Clip out and walk across the invisible bridge to skip the boss fight with Tinkerer.

Skip Description: Clip out and fly up to skip the long elevator fight. You should hit the cutscene trigger at the top of the tower after a couple seconds.

Other Skips

There's like few new skips I have found due to me just messing around and just testing. This will force the game into moving your team on top due to you being at the bottom. If you switch to anyone at top and hit the computers with an AOE attack it will force the game into cutscreen.

To note reloading a checkpoint for this game grants you one fusion star (Don't know why), To use this the next new skip is to reload checkpoint the start of **Chapter 2**.

Dock Work also can work with this checkpoint reload instead of praying you get the skip for the first lock door.

During level Prison I had an idea of just doing one sample during **Going Negative**, but the game just needs you to do one and the cutscreen can play. During the start of **Wakanda** reload the checkpoint for fusion star. With all of these guides i had to build the fusion metre due to using mission replay, you should be able to just do them right away during a run.

* Wakanda - Tribal City * You can skip the entirety of this section by using a fusion between Penance and Gambit then pressing against a wall.  Really simple to do and saves about 5 minutes.

*Dock Work* This isn't much of a massive skip but it lets you go past having to destroy like 6 containers and a quick cutscene. Saves around 30-40 seconds

*Prison - Riot*  This skip saves about 3 minutes if done fast and skips a bunch of little cutscenes and a boss(2) fight

*Prison - Break In* This skip lets you get past a few barriers with turrets and a conversation with Maria Hill then backtracking back saving about 45-60 seconds depending on how optimal you are. Bonus random skip as well with the possibility of skipping Iron Man teleporting and getting control back to initiate a fusion ASAP but I haven't found a trigger for that yet.

*Prison - Descent Skip* This skip let's you get past the annoying left to right descent after the  fight with Molten Man, it was wonderful to see brought to life as I had hoped it was possible before.  I estimate it saves in around 20-30s

Vicarious Visions Rapid Boss Kill

Iron Man and Songbird have the ability to rapidly kill most bosses within the game by using an exploit that allows you to fly over the boss and repeatedly bounce a projectile between the boss and the ground for extreme damage. This applies to their first power

Though it is not perfect obviously, this is a good example of how the exploit is performed, you know if it's working correctly if you see a lot of damage numbers popping up and the boss's health draining fast
