Loop skip It's possible to skip driving through a loop. Since coming back to this game in December 2021, I've only been able to do it using the dragster. However, I remember being able to do it when I was younger, and I never used the dragster back then.

It's definitely possible (and easiest) on City 2, but should theoretically be possible on any track with a loop (Desert 5 and Mr. X). Mr. X's track is probably the toughest because of the angle at which you approach the loop.

Example:

Hill skip The big hill on Desert 2 can be "skipped", by which I mean you can fly over it. There is a big version and a small version (see examples).

This may have something to do with how much speed you have when driving over the fan just before the hills, although I've still had moderate success when not going full speed as well. Flying over the hill seems slightly faster than a slow fan and then driving up and down the track like normal.

Small hill skip: Big hill skip:

Change start position On Ice 3, when using Snake's car, a restart of the race (at any point, but ideally right away when the track loads) will move your starting position from 3rd to 1st. I do not believe this works on Ice 3 using any other car. And other than Ice 4 (see below), I also haven't fully tested if this works for other tracks/car, but I may do that in the future.

This works on Ice 4, but you are moved from 4th to 3rd, so not much is gained.

Fan skip The strat essentially requires you to start sliding out of control around the corner just before the fan. This can allow you to slide of the track and wrap around the fan, just before the game forces you back on the track, skipping the fan entirely.
