"Wall jumps"

The game has an interesting glitch. If you dash towards a wall (by eating a bat), and you press bounce **exactly** 1 frame before hitting the wall, you will bounce upwards instead of dashing down.
This is a frame perfect trick, because bouncing one frame too early or too late will make it to fail.

Note: the trick is easier to execute on lower framerates, because you have slightly higher time to react and do the bounce before hitting the wall.

The trick is not viable at all in full-game runs, but can be used to save time in some ILs (like level 7).

Instant high jumps

Whenever you jump, you can press up/down/W while in the air to dash downwards, and bounce on the floor to do a high jump.
If you stand on the ground and press Up and W at the same time, the game will register that us a jump and downwards-dash on the same frame, and it will trigger a high jump immediately.

This can make it much easier to do high jumps, without having to time your jumps and dashes.

Note that on the autosplitter version, 'Z' key can also be used as an alternate jump button.
