SO YOU WANT TO RUN HUNDO% ON EASY DIFFICULTY LIKE I DO?

Cool! Here are some notes on that. They might make sense to you.

//

The format for the guide is as follows:

Step: Stage Name -> Things to Buy After the Stage (Loadout # and Burst Direction if it's a Burst)

  • Note1

  • Note2

L: Loadout

b: Boost Chip slot

//

[QUICK NOTES]

You can "Return to Checkpoint" on bosses if you take damage to retry a perfect kill

If you need to heal at a checkpoint, swap to L2 for Repair Enhancer to make it cheaper

If you're short by less than 6k bits, run the Intro again and Perfect the boss (takes about 2 minutes on Easy)

//

[LOADOUTS]

Booster Rescue costs:

  • Air Jumper (8)

  • Chain Dasher (3)

  • Chain Booster (5)

  • Catch Block (4)

  • Repair Enhancer (2)

//

LOADOUT 1:

b1: Air Jumper

b2: Chain Booster

b3: Catch Block

--

Normal: Screen Interrupt (after Highway)

Up: Rising Uppercut [TO BE CHANGED]

Left/Right: Flying Punch (default)

Down: Gravity Dash (after Highway)

//

LOADOUT 2

b1: Chain Booster

b2: Chain Dasher

b3: Repair Enhancer

--

Normal: Current Arc (after Power Plant)

Up: Rising Uppercut (after Intro)

Left/Right: Flying Punch

Down: Heavenly Piledrive/Scrap Barrier (After Junkyard)

//

[THE ROUTE]

0.INTRO -> Rising Uppercut (L1 Up, L2 Up), Heavenly Piledrive (L2 Down)

After talking to Kernel and viewing the 8 stage map, mash the "back" key before starting the first stage to buy from Nega

Remember to assign Flying Punch to L2 Left/Right.

1.STEELWORKS -> Air Jumper (L1 b1)

Use Uppercut to kill multishot turrets if you don't get the chip drop from the two before the platforming hookshot segment

After picking up HP upgrade, Reload Checkpoint

  1. HIGHWAY -> Speedy Teal (Prim), Screen Interrupt (L1 Normal), Gravity Dash (L1 Down), Chain Boost (L1, L2), Chain Dash (L2)

Do NOT forget the energy upgrade

  1. POWER PLANT -> Catch Block (L1), Repair Enhancer (L2)

Grav Dash a bunch, idk

Don't buy Current Arc yet

  1. JUNKYARD -> Scrap Barrier (L2 Down), Current Arc (L2 Normal)

Use Grav Dash to go straight upwards to HP room

Burst punch to get the Rescue behind the steel crates above the crusher drop

Swap to L2 for Golem fight, spam chain dash + punch x2

  1. CITY CENTER

Use two GDs to get through long vertical wall jump section

  1. ORE MINES

-FO through all the conveyor block sections?

-Grav Dash to skip tricky "jump off falling block to wall" move

  1. MOUNTAIN

Screen Interrupt grabs Prim chip

HP Upgrade room: FO triple jump, dive kick MIDDLE FLOATER in group of three, triple jump again?

Grav Dash to kill a whole wall of ice spraying enemies.

  1. WAREHOUSE

4-WAY TELEPORTER ROOM:

Hitting a Key with a dead enemy instantly breaks it.

TOP LEFT: Grav Dash past the long vertical warp to grab the rescue, then just wall-dash up to the next warp.

Screen Interrupt grabs Prim chip

9.0 Ark 1

Scrap Barrier cancels Nega bursts

9.1 Ark 2

"The Ark 2 Skip:"

Gravity Dash, Air Jumper. Set Grav Dash to left/right.

Take damage, wall slide, dive kick to right then IMMEDIATELY activate Gravity Dash. Spam left and jump on the other side to catch the wall.

9.2 Ark 3

Doors: Right, Left, Right, Left

9.3 Ark 1 again to get hidden paint chip

Boss Rush

Collect all data chips from robots and do all the buying at once (Prim, then Nursebot, then Data)
