Happy new year to everyone (including those who are still in 2021) If you have a list of resolutions for 2022 you can write them here even if they arent related to the site or speedrunning. My resolutions are to go to the gym at least once a week or 2 weeks if Im too busy, to start using an agenda because Im too unorganised, to get 1k wrs, reaching the top 50 in most games and categories played and to become more helpful irl and here. Tell me yours and, at the end of the year, we will see if you have managed to accomplish them.

• Finding a job
• Have a 100 games on my sr.c profile

My resolution is to try to not make the world like it was the past two years. I hope all this shit goes away.

My plan in 2022 is to become a better moderator

I've been thinking about this since midnight of January. I believe these are some good goals for me.

1. To be a better person. I plan for this year to become more like my grandfather and my friend who past away last year. These two people have been such a positive influence in my life with their kindness and I hope to be more like them too.
2. Focus more on school. Right now I'm in the PESO program as a senior in high school to a nearby community college. I wish to take this honor more seriously this year since last semester my grades were around a C+ average which was close to me getting dropped out of the program. I plan to do this by limiting procrastination and staying in longer at school where I'll focus better.
3. This is on the speedrunning side. I hope this year I will reach 10k world records by the end of the year. I'm at around 4k world records as of now and plan to run many more ILs on GBA or other retro type games with a decent amount of ILs to run.

Mine is to stop doing new year’s resolutions

Most of my resolution's are health-based, as over the past 7 months, this has been my main interest outside of work and school.

Health goals:

• Hit a sub 5:30 running mile
• Get to 12% body fat by June
• Hit a 315 lbs (142.88 kg) bench press and 450 lbs (204.11 kg) squat
• Consistently be able to bike 30 miles
• Hold breath underwater for 4 1/2 mins (I'm at 3:15 rn)

Speedrunning goals:

• Focus more on the quality of my runs and achieve wrs in bigger name games. I want to get the Quake 2 wr
• Try to dominate as many racing game leaderboards as possible
• Expand my horizon a bit and play more genres of games, including the retro game scene

-Maintain my weight per the norm. -Save up for a 1-month family trip to Korea.

-Figure out which car I wanna buy as my weekend warrior and sink in the massive downpayment. -FINALLY find the 302 Boss intake manifold install kit I desperately need so I can upgrade the engine on my mustang. Maybe add a new CAI, spark plugs, wheels, etc... -Finish programming my video game proof of concept.

We are already in June so I want to remind everyone to keep going if you havent given up, and if you have given up you can try to start again. Good luck and see you in 6 months.

Happy new year 2023 everyone! I bet that you forgot about this. Last year we had some good resolutions, I think its time to look back and see if we managed to achieve our goals and continue with this years resolutions. I have to admit that I did pretty terribly with the resolutions I put here. I have practically stopped speedrunning and Ive had trouble finding motivation to farm so I havent achieved 1K wrs, top 50 games or top 50 categories. I didnt go to the gym a lit, even though I started going more often, and I wasnt able to adapt to using an agenda so I have had to use alternative methods which worked for me (even though nothing works perfectly). Regarding this year, Ill say that I have no idea what to expect this year, so I dont have any resolutions. Other years I wasnt sure but at least I had an idea about how the year was going to go, but thats not the case this year. Everything looks so uncertain, theres many things I have to work out, to know more about and a lot of things can go differently. I dont know to expect so I cant give myself resolutions because, even though I have many things to improve, I dont know what will happen and what Ill be able to do. I might give myself some goals irl, but nothing related to speedrunning or the community.

i want 10k more runs on my account for 2023, i want to play all the games possible that are in my hands (gaming backlog is very big) .... i really love all games, but the ones that are made to be frustrating !!! i already celebrated new year !! hny !
