So I got livesplit but when I open the zip folder, something comes up that says "Windows Protected Your PC." And it gives me the option to open anyway or to cancel opening it. Now im wondering, is it safe? Windows apparently thinks it isnt so now im just a little bit iffy about running it.

That IS where i downloaded it from, windows just says its unsafe and im just checking to make sure its a false positive

If you downloaded it there you can just unzip it and run the program

It's just a false positive. Windows gets kinda pissy when you try to download executables sometimes.

So when Windows does not know who a program was made by, they will give you a warning that you should be careful with the program.
