Hey mods and etc. I was a little concerned when after almost a week and a half of waiting my run has not been submitted. It’s not the best time but there is no reason it should not be checked by this time... Although I may have a theory that maybe my run was not checked because the same run I submitted did not have the seed so it got rejected very fast, that being said I resubmitted my run and as I said earlier it is taking forever
Any reason??
Thx it means a lot
- Game moderators have up to three weeks to verify runs. Your run is only waiting for a week, so be patient.
- If your run is not verified after 3 weeks, only then you can try contact the game moderators directly and ask what is up with it. You can find the game moderators on the bottom-left corner of the game leaderboard.
- Minecraft is the most popular game on the site, and tons of runs are submitted to it each day. So it's understandable that runs by newcomers might have to wait more time to get verified.
In the meantime, you can always keep running the game and improve yourself; you don't have to wait until your run is verified, to submit the next one.
"It’s not the best time but there is no reason it should not be checked by this time..."
How could you know that? Some games do have a quick turnaround time for verification, but it's not expected to be the norm. The most that can be said is that if you feel verification isn't happening fast enough, the game should have more mods/verifiers added if possible, but it's not like your run is going anywhere and you can just keep doing runs in the meantime.
Let me jump onto that question. ^^ I submitted a run for a game without moderators, 3 weeks ago. I'm in no rush, was just wondering how long it does take usually in a case like that (the run is 75 minutes long).
If there’s no moderators then you either need to request to become moderator or wait until someone else does (could be months).
@play_a_faya Since you have a run submitted and there are no leaderboard mods to verify your run, you could request leaderboard moderation here https://www.speedrun.com/knowledgebase/supporthub/request-moderation
Keep in mind that your acc needs to be at least a month old but that shouldn't take long since your acc is already 3 weeks old
Oh, thanks for the replies. I haven't done any speed running before I saw some Twitch streamer training for a Conan Exiles speed run, a game where I just happen to have 10k+ hours invested. Making a record was more a side hobby really, I don't think there is anyone else going to run this game. I'm not sure if moderation is worth it. :D
