I'm starting to learn to run DQMJ, I know this place is quiet but wanted to say hi anyways :D
It's a shame there aren't that many Resources or Guides for the game but I'm hoping I can make some of my own in the future, as I quite like this game :)
Also I'm learning on an english copy even though there's no leaderboard for it yet, hope that's not too much of an issue!
Just a tad late to this but, how was the experience? Childhood game for me and I'd love to here about how it is to speed run. Very low chance for me to try to speed run it but nonetheless curious.
Just as late to reply lol, I enjoyed it but it is a fairly long game. The early stages are the most difficult but when you get about half way through your team is strong enough to steamroll all bosses from then on. Little bit of rng from crits and such but that's the same for all DQ games lol
Makes sense, thanks for responding. Have you quit speedrunning or are you just taking a lengthy break?
Had to take a longated break for Uni but I am planning on getting back into speedrunning this year :)
