All the battles on this game are timed, except for the final boss, so the only part in which you can actually gain time is on that final battle. For the rest of the game, just winning is enough, then wait for the timer to go down. Even then, I stupidly died on one of the last battles. Anyway, not much to do for speedruns on this game.
