Hello. You might have noticed how the current Any% World Record has a glitch that has somehow skipped a whole area. With the runner having no idea how they have done so. I have the answer to how to do so and the solution is pretty simple but possibly too hard to perform. It's as simple as going to the furthest left doing continuous 1-frame window start button presses. I proved this with a TAS which is in the video below:
I cannot recreate the glitch on the GBC version but i can easily recreate it in the GBA version
you can do the glitch on every single minigame in the house except roof AND on the scarecrow throwing into the cement game
just was able to do this on fishing. this game going down
Just was able to pull it off on the green truck game and found out you cant Perform the glitch on the EU version. The italy softlock has to stay.
It's official. you can do this glitch on every minigame. I've now obtained a WR of 7:16 and am on my way to make a tas. Also you can prevent the Italy softlock by making sure to not press shift post the game ending dialogue
